  Sub: - Failure of power supply for more than 15 days in Egmore division area – regarding
  
  Our organisation is working to eradicate the corruption and doing welfare activities among the common public. Besides, every Monday we are conducting awareness programme in front of the T.N.E.B offices.
  
  On 12th July 2010, we conducted the programme at the Cooks Road office, where huge number of ladies were making representation about non availability of supply for more than 15 days; in the 8th street of Dhas Nagar, Kannigapuram in 40th ward. The Asst. Executive Engineer of Puliyanthope assured the crowd, that, supply will be restored on the next day.
  
  But even up to 16-7-10 the supply was not restored. The Executive Engineer, Egmore and Superintending Engineer, Central also assured to restore supply.
  
  On 17-7-10 FACT team visited the area and found that the supply was not restored. Instead, the supply remains restored to the area with using the P.V.C. wire by the consumers themselves from the pillar. The video clipping attached herewith for visual information.
  
  Therefore, necessary action may be taken against the erring officials of TNEB and supply may be restored to the area in a proper manner.
